Axis Mundi
Distinctive, independent designer and craftsman, Hally Sheely, conceives and manufactures her one-of-a-kind pieces by hand, in the thoughtful solitude of her small New England cabin. Often inspired by her surroundings, the resplendent White Mountain wilderness, her jewelry, fashion, and sculpture often reflect the enduring and effortless beauty of nature, while still radiating a liminal and otherworldly quality. Sheely's art has been described as "revolutionary" in it's style and composition, each work a potential heirloom. Her designs bring to her audience a tangible aesthetic that seems to arrived directly from the Axis Mundi.
Hally graduated with honors from Savannah College of Art and Design. She apprenticed for 3 years at North Country Fair Jewelers in North Conway, NH and has taken courses at Metalwerx in Waltham, MA, as well as Master classes with artists in the NH League of Craftsmen, and years of rigorous self study.
